Due to the continued growth of the school, Stonar has an exciting opportunity for a Prep School teacher to join the team. We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Key Stage Two Teacher to join a well-established Prep School. The successful candidate will work as a class teacher in Key Stage 2 and be a subject lead for at least one area of the curriculum.
Stonar is an independent, non-selective, co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 2 to 18, which was rated excellent by ISI in October 2018 for both pupil achievement and personal development. Stonar is part of Globeducate, an expanding global family of schools. Our pupils regularly achieve outstanding results, which are beyond expectations both academically and personally. We pride ourselves on our ability to nurture the learning needs of every individual in a respectful, supportive and globally-minded community.
All teaching staff are expected to proactively support the pastoral aims of the school and a willingness to be involved in the extra-curricular life of this busy boarding school is required. Stonar is situated in over 80 acres of beautiful Wiltshire countryside, yet only a 20 minute drive from the World Heritage City of Bath and within easy reach of the M4 corridor.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Head of Prep to promote a lifelong love of learning.
